My name is Linus, I'm a hybrid developer/designer.
In 2007 I started to work on media projects for clients at university - Leiness was
initiated. Since then I've devoted my time to design and frontend development, photography, illustration
and layout. In 2009 I completed an internship at Denkwerk
(Cologne) in graphic design with
focus on brand experience. That way I learned how to promote a brand with exceptional campaigns in
web design.
After I graduated at university in 2011, I got employed by Bassier
Bergmann &
Kindler (Ludwigsburg) as a Flash Designer. I began to create Flash based interactive
websites and applications with ActionScript 3.0 in a 3 headed team of Flash developers.
At that time I gained a lot of work experience, I comprehended object orientated programming and how to
structure multilingual, interactive
websites. With the technological change from Flash to HTML5 as a new standard for websites, I transformed my skills from ActionScript to JavaScript. As a Senior Software Developer I was still creating stunning websites in HTML
for
clients like
Porsche at the United Digital Group. in a small team of interactive developers.
You'll find some benchmarks of interactive websites in the projects
section.
With more than 5 years experience in the advertising business I thought it might be the time for a change. I decided to apply at the Daimler AG to create applications that make production more efficient.
At the moment I'm working as a technical lead, being responsible for the frontend of a HTML based web application for shopfloor management in Mercedes-Benz cars production.
